Author Jeff Broadwater spoke about his book, "George Mason, Forgotten Founder," published by The University of North Carolina Press. Known as the "Father of the Bill of Rights," George Mason (1725-1792) wrote the Virginia Declaration of Rights, the model for the Bill of Rights, but refused to sign the U.S. Constitution when it did not include the Bill of Rights.
